Nature, society and the State punish bad behaviour.

Ah but God doesn't care, which according to you is far more important.

How is it "paradise" when your one and only thought is ZOMG it's "GOD"!!!!!

No memories of loved ones or friends,

No meeting loved ones or friends,

Just an eternity of mindless worship of a "God" that allows pain and suffering
We don't lose our minds or our thoughts when we die ... our conscious spirit retains all of these things ... and we can meet all of our loved ones and friends in Heaven ... but only if they are not Atheists ... and they believed in God.

...feel guilty for doing things that they enjoy that cause no harm to anyone else ... but this is something that Atheists can't (or won't) do ... because they don't believe in God.

So my Father (devout Catholic went to church every day) is in heaven but my mother (atheist) is in hell. My Father LIVED for my mother, if he is in heaven and she is not there then it will be hell for him. What about me? According to you I will also go to hell, how will my Father be happy in heaven knowing his wife and son are burning in eternal fires?

So its alright for you to tell others to shut up, but not all right when others tell you the same?

Given that you exist (in your mind) in a fantasy universe created 6,000 years ago created by a big beard in the sky, what makes you think you're better qualified than the average five year old, say, as to the worthiness of someone's words?

Oh, and your post is ignoring the fact that we're not shutting you up, just imploring you to stop spreading the lies you do about yourself, evolution and the other matters you post falsehoods about.
Where have I asked you or anybody else to 'shut up' ??
I enjoy reading your posts ... actually.
Fair comment and freedom of speech are essential foundations of a free society ... but that doesn't mean that people should be nasty to each other ... and in fairness, you guys don't tend to be.

I don't know the eternal destiny of either your father or mother ... that is between them and Jesus Christ.

Why do you say will you go to Hell?
I certainly wouldn't judge your eternal destiny ... and you can be Saved if you believe on Jesus Christ ... so its really up to you.;)

I don't and never will believe in them.

And if a group of children who were taught they're all going to be saved by a snowman went to war, they'd probably pray to Frosty. What does this prove exactly?
... if they were Atheists in a foxhole and they prayed to Frosty ... it would prove that Atheists pray in foxholes ... which has been the subject of extensive debate over the past few pages on this thread.:D:)

Atheists can't use 'faith' as an alternative for evidence when making fantastical claims and expect to be taken seriously.

He cares allright ... enough to condemn you if you don't repent and seek His infinite mercy ... and enough to forgive you if you do.:)

both parts of that statement can't be true. You can't be infinitely merciful if you condemn someone to eternal torment. It's double-think.

Not too far off the mark ... we can avail of God's mercy or His Justice ... and it really is up to each one of us which we choose to avail of.

didn't take long for the infinite mercy to vanish.

    EDIT:

“It is better to risk saving a guilty person than to condemn an innocent one.” <- this is a level of mercy that your "infinitely merciful" god can't reach.

If somebody refuses to recognise a court of law ... what would a just judge do with them?
... he would 'send them down'.
... and that is what will happen to anybody who refuses God's mercy ... in favour of His justice.:)

So my poor Father is in heaven but his wife and son are burning in eternal fires of hell. That's not heaven for him.
