Euro to Serling Cash Exchange

Hi, I need to get around £1000 in sterling and I was wondering where the best rates are? I'm getting a big job done on my car in Belfast and I'm wondering if it's best to pay by credit card or bring cash. The garage said they will knock a few quid off for cash. I checked BOI online and An Post and they are both saying…

AIB is quoting the best rate today - 0.8126 http://www.aib.ie/personal/current-accounts/Foreign-Exchange/Foregin-exchange-rates-Sell

Both of the banks charge commission which An Post do not but even allowing for that, AIB is the cheapest today.

This is how much £1,000 sterling will cost in Euros from each of them today, allowing for the banks' commission i.e. this is how much each will ask for.....

AIB €1,242.92
BOI €1,263.13
AN Post €1,250.31
