Foreign national wanting to work as nurse in ireland

    Basically what if like I know is what do I need to work as a nurse in Ireland.
    I've a diploma from Japan and a Bs nursing from the UK(but I'd need a conversion course to work as a nurse in the uk).
    Is there such a course available in Ireland?
    Can anyone advise me on my options?

    Not sure what the process is to be honest, but the Nursing Board website might be of some use.

    There is a PDF that relates to Nurses who trained outside of Ireland and what you need to do I think.

    There are contact details on that page too, not sure how responsive to queries they are though. Too busy spending my 100 euro I send them every year I expect.
