Audi a3 passenger tail light not working - bulb fine

Hi folks Passenger tail light has stopped working. Plug on light an bulh are fine. Mechanic reckons it's wiring between light and frint of car. My question is: Has anyone found a weak spot in the wiring between tail light and front? Or has anyone aby other ideas? Thanks in advance for advice.

Have you tried a new bulb or tried replacing the bulb with the one from the other side?
