Any recommendations for cheap car hire from faro Airport?

As per thread title.

Going for a week in July and the cheapest I can get is €200.

I'm sure there are small local companies but I can't find any.

Use them all the time in Portugal. €156 for their smallest car (and they are small, barely takes 1 case in the boot). If you need bigger you will pay well over €200.
You also need to buy a car hire excess policy before you go. Much dearer to use theirs.
