    Across the pond they have been suffering from polar cold, except for So Cal where there's an Indian Summer with temps reaching 30 C today. Runs about in shorts and T drinking tall cool ones. :D

    I'd rather the warm weather of say Los Angeles, instead of the unpredictable weather of Ireland

    Right now LA is hot and smoggy, so smoggy that the 12K foot mountains disappear. Glad I live on the coast 80 kms south. Plus LA has gangs and crime, especially troublesome at night. We call it the "War Zone."

    If i was ever to move out to Los Angeles, and making serious money, i'd probably want a house in Malibu's Latigo Canyon, something like this

    Sure, nice mansion. Then again, he better have his own water reserve tanks (in addition to his pool) and fire protection system to cover his entire property. The hills behind Malibu are famous for hot, dry weather fires.

    If I were rich and not a starving student, I'd probably live on an isolated bluff overlooking the Pacific in New Zealand. Of course they have earthquakes, but so does California.
