I don't get why a lot of this stuff is not marked down by the staff, when I went into Maynooth earlier this evening the nanos were still on display for €50 rather than €25, seems if you have any knowledge of the prices the staff want to take your head off, is tesco secretly part of the Irish civil service, used to being made to feel this way in the higher education grants office or social welfare office, not in a super market. Rant over.

Didn't see any reductions in clonmel. Hoped to pick up lego pirates but scanned at full price. Batteries were full price also so didn't even bother picking them up

There was a 16gb pink nano in Balinasloe when I left tonight at around 9. I was tempted, I picked it up i think 3 times! I would have bought it if it wasnt pink!

There was also a pink shuffle 2gb for €40

Didnt see any of the cheap games that you would be bothered buying, there was any amount of COD MW2 though!

There was a few HDMI splitters, marked as €5 scanning at €1

Not any more.:) The pink didn't bother me. I'm very comfortable with my sexuality.......:P

The 16gb nanos are purple not pink, it is a lavender shade so maybe a toss up between the two, I am happy with mine.

still a good few there this morning

I got the last Sony docking radio.... looks like someone may have had it stashed away at the back in behind loads of other stuff. I though I was out of luck so took a similar one off the shelf to price-check and low and behold spotted it in behind.

Sorry if it was yours !!

Is he the one who's wife works in monaghan? :P

No idea I reported him and set up an account on here to bitch about it, basterds buying up multiples to resell leaving none for the rest of us.

Crazy. And the same people would be ripping Tesco apart for a customer assistant for getting one to listen to on the way to work. Or being to busy to drop everything for a non retuning customer who only has profit in mind.

The lot should have been donated to charity IMO .

Just back from Tesco Maynooth, no 6th gen ipod but was able to pick up 2 16gb 7th gen ones (both purple) for myself and the missus. 50 quid each, first sticker said 125 and the 50 one was over it, delighted very handy for both of us.

They had no more (just to save people the trip)

Thanks folks, I've gotten a good laugh out of the thread over the last few days between stories of staff stashing stuff away for themselves and customers buying everything available - personally I understand neither mentality but there you go!

I managed to get all of a Black Eyed Peas Xbox game for €1 for the OH's nephews who clearly know nothing about music……..

I got more satisfaction out of that clip than my trip to Tesco!

Was in Mahon earlier and I didn't see anything of note there, I didn't ask about the ipods. I thought that I was in luck when I came across the Denby set that was mentioned on Shane's list (for €5) but when I scanned it, it was €48 :( There was loads of xbox and PS3 football games for €1 and a few modern warfares for €5. I got some Sesame Street and Disneyland on xbox for €1 each. Could see any of the other games on the list. Items that I had seen reduced on HUKD were not reduced here.

I think deals are getting harder to get from as more people (and staff) are on the lookout for them now:(
