    Laziness.

    Wait, get up where?

    Wait, get up where?

The moon. Though I think it is down to American policy on space exploration, under funded it now looks more likely that you'll get a one way ticket between Beijing and the moon.

    What do you think?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,029 ✭✭✭salacious crumb

I think you might be right.

Would you like to travel into space?

Yes if I get to come back.

What do you think of the one way tickets to mars?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,029 ✭✭✭salacious crumb

Wouldn't be too keen on it.

Isn't Mars' atmosphere incompatible with the human respitaory system?

Aye but I invented an apparatus just for that

Should I sell it to nasa or to the russians?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,742 ✭✭✭✭Wichita Lineman

NASA all the way dont trust them pesky Russki's

    Whats your favourite TV ad?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,029 ✭✭✭salacious crumb

None of them. Ads are the work of marketing people, who as we all know are the spawn of Satan.

Do you not prefer downloding or watching stuff on netflix so there are no ads?

If you want to get something done while watching the TV ads are great. You can really do anything when watching netflix unless you pause. Also the line up on netfilx is not great. I don't think I will continue with dexter.

    Did you like Dexter?

    Haven't actually seen it.

    Have you tried Justified?

Bought series 1 recently on DVD but havent started watching it as yet.

Do you watch 'The Good Wife'? I just started it this morning.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,029 ✭✭✭salacious crumb

    Nope.

    Any use?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,641 ✭✭✭✭Elmo

    Nope.

    Any use?

The Good Wife is good, though sometimes it has its Prime Time Soap Opera moments but Juianne Marguilles makes up for that. Been watching Justified on and off on TG4 (they have it on their player :) though I have netfilx :( ) , seems decent enough.

    Nashville any good?

    Haven't seen it.

Should we start a nocturnal tv recommendations thread and get back to talking gibberish in this one? :pac:

    See my sig :)

I think we should get in consultants to write our posts for us. How would you feel about that?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,029 ✭✭✭salacious crumb

    That all depends.

    Do I still get paid?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,641 ✭✭✭✭Elmo

    Do I still get paid?

Well I need a writer, an editor and a PA. I would also like to get a wheelchair (so I guess I'll also need a wheelchair pusher until I get a motor fixed.) A pointer so that I can just press the Y button when a good comment comes in and N if I feel that the standard of writing has dropped. If you can fill any of these roles please PM me at your earliest convenience. I look forward to reading your CV, and then searching you on Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter and Google. Oh! that reminds me I will need a Private Eye to carry out my normal stalking routines.

    Did that answer your question?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,029 ✭✭✭salacious crumb

    Precisely and to the point.

What are my chances of gainful employment once your private dick discovers all my tawdry secrets?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,742 ✭✭✭✭Wichita Lineman

The more tawdry secrets we uncover the more likely you will be employed here!

We should engage a consultant to engage another consultant to enter into negotiations with a consultant who will then possibly consult with a consultant of a consultant on our behalf.

At least I think thats how it works isnt it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,029 ✭✭✭salacious crumb

    It sounds plausible to me.

Would you like to hire me as a consultant?

I'm sorry but after due deliberation and an exhaustive consultation process involving expensive public and private sessions and many, many many lunches I am pleased to announce that the job goes to a 2nd cousin of my wifes sisters son who just happened to be the best out of all the applications we received. Obviously I had no hand act nor part in making the final decision. That was the Nocturnal Dept of Injustices Minister's responsibility where his son, the successful candidate formerly worked.

Is that transparent enough for you?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,029 ✭✭✭salacious crumb

    Painfully.

I believe that's called nepotism, yes? :pac:

Honest and transparent just as we like it here at the Nocturnal Dept. This is a new frontier for the department. It will allow use to move forward with plans which would otherwise not have seen fruition with past policy, it pushes out the boundaries of possibilities and the never ending search for justice and/or spock. It is with this that we will the the ultimate sacrifice of years of austerity. This will see the world change with an infinite number of metaphorical bridges being built between each thread on boards.ie

    Are you happy?
