Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Willows for fire wood and pleasure

    Hi all,
last spring I set some willows in a bog (not too wet- it is not water logged) and I am guessing that the salix alba will have proven the best among the species I planted. It's about 1.5 miles from the coast but is not too windswept.

I also set salix fragilis and salix pentandra. Not sure how well these will survive the conditions into their 2nd year. I wait and see:D

Any thoughts on nice looking willows you have set in peat that is easy to grow and hardy?

    Cheers
