Remember... 53 players on your roster!

Remember lads, you need 53 players on your roster when i advance (around 10pm tomorrow)
If you are over this number, the CPU may cut a star player and if that happens they are fair game.

Can you be under, Heli? Say 51 or 52 players. I have that many on my roster now, none of the free agents are appealing or could add anything to my roster and I'm happy enough.

We're looking to try to get everyone to 53, the aim is so no has blown shed loads of cash on a FA/ trade *ahem Colts *ahem :pac: and ends up just having to have 45 players on the roster

Excuse me but i have 53 players and plenty of cash left......Jeez i have a newbie who hates my star player and now the commish is having a pop at his trade.....ye will pay for this i tells ya.

Seriously though, we have to do something about players that don't have 53 players. There is a reason why we have always said you have to have 53. Its unrealistic not to and to use your cap space to sign players on the FA with big contracts while you can't fill your roster. I myself was only had 31 players at the end of last year and I had to be very frugal so that I will make the 53.

As Raoul said, under no circumstances would a NFL team not have 53 players on a roster

Well yes, that is what they were meant to do. But some people blew their cap space on FAs that they really couldn't afford. It was discussed at the start of last season, again during the middle of the season ( I was one person that didn't have the 53 and had to rectify it) and then again before the start of this season.

I think as long as people have 53 when they are playing their week 1 game we should be ok. If they need to cut a high earner in order to bring in a few scrubs then that's what they will need to do.

Yep, I was worried about having to cut Juilius Peppers. But I think I have circumnavigated that problem.

Well as Heli knows, i could've been struggling to get to 53, but I didnt spend much in FA, Nicks was my biggest signing, the rest were mid 70's rated players whose ratings has increased quickly, that left me with plenty of Money to sign Jackson and with 6 picks in the draft, i got to 53 easily with money to spare.

Remember... 53 players on your roster!
