Okay so at least this one is sync with the drums....

    http://youtu.be/PAoRBCoyPtI

Is it a matter of some songs that are not synced well?

I can assure you it's perfectly in sync with the music, looks like an encoding error with youtube there. It's far and away the best rhythm game on the system I found. Also you can add improve taps as well which add to your score if they fit the songs beat.

Device 6, the two Rayman games and the two Joe Danger games are all well worth a go, the first particularly!

I'm playing Papa Sangre II at the moment, which is a very strange, eerie and unique game, and you play the game entirely by hearing (and moving in response to that). L-R headphones are a must ;)

    Picked these up in CeX

Just bought Halo Reach (around) for a fiver in Xtravision/HMV in Ashbourne.
I was buying Time Crisis 4 with the gun as well but, as usual, the gun wasn't included so what's the point :(

On the Retro front I piked up Rocky for the cube for €2.50 in CEX :) This was many a drunk night in a friends house so hoping it stood the test of time.

Not really retro but Picked up Ni No Kuni (Finally). Put a good few hours in already, battle system is a strange one which took a lot of time to get my head around and the story can be a bit fruity but good lord it is pretty. I knew it was a collaboration with studio ghibli so I guessed it would have some great cutscenes but I think it's absolutely stunning looking. Also the Welsh sidekick is proper tidy so he is, right laugh en't it. Some of the monster designs are great too and the way they slowly introduce all the mechanics and such. I've barely scratched the surface but even if the whole game is linear I'm enjoying the hell out of it and has me pulling the dvd collection back out to rewatch howls moving castle and the like. Anyway... thats a lot of waffle. :pac:

Also picked up El Shaddai and Catherine in the 3 for 20 deal in gamestop along with Grid 2
(then traded that to CEX to make it a 2 for €9 deal shhhhhh)
also grabbed Brothers in the PSN sale. All waiting on the sidelines since I have got truly sucked into Ni No Kuni. If it wasn't for college in the morning I'd be straight back in. :D

Finally getting around to finding a home for the everdrive board I got before Christmas. Now to find a gamebit screwdriver:ofrof.jpg
    bc1g.jpg

Saw this post and thought, never seen a cart like that 'Nintendo Power' flash cart before and it would also make a great home for my Everdrive :)
Ordered/recieved the cart (just cart, no box like yourself) but its a cart which uses the extra edge connectors on the SNES you see on SuperFX games and the cart internals (tabs etc) are in different locations so the Everdrive board doesn't fit without cutting :( ah well, cart still looks funky :) good for my very small collection

Could you not use the back off a normal cart, & keep the fancy front part with the nice label etc?

Tried that as soon as I noticed it wouldn't work with the tabs etc.
The front and rear part of the case are different, would mean cutting molded tabs and hot glueing - didn't want to destroy the cart and lock my everdrive cart into it. I can post pictures later if folks be interested

Well I officially got my 3DS:XL today for the birthday, first game to play, Pilotwings.
    Bloody stupid Island!

Also got Rayman Legends for the WiiU and have a copy of Batman Arkham City on its way for the WiiU as well, only £9 not including Parcel Motel.

I'm still waiting for the gamebit:( I didn't think there would be any difference on the inside of the casing and never looked into it:(. My phone fell down the toilet in work today:( It's now sitting in a bag of rice in the hot press. Can this Monday get any worse?:( On a plus point I now have a copy of Dragon Quest for the sfc on a flash cart.

Rayman Legends touched down at last, for the WiiU, it's being added to my "must play" list for 2014, along with all the others!

You're in for a treat. Its a fantastic platformer. Starts slowly very easy then gradually ups the challenge. Looks gorgeous as well.

One of the carts is stikl in a plastic wrapper inside the box too. Also, manuals came with both.

lovely gets. Played lots of chaos engine on the amiga back in the day. Desert strike too. Awesome.

Is urban strike the one where you can get out of the copter?

I couldn't tell you. I don't think I played it. I played bits of Desert and Jungle, and tons of Soviet, but I don't think I've played this one. I remember Chaos Engine giving me a fierce whipping when I was younger. Looking forward to test driving it nowadays. I reckon I'll give them a soon over the weekend.

Yeah you can get out of da choppa like in the oil rig levels. It's really awful!

I thought it was great at the time as I used to play Strike games constantly and the idea of being able to run around like that was excellent.

One negative about the Snes version, they completely butchered the music :(

    Just listen to horror

Now as it's meant to sound on the Megadrive, no contest!

Not retro but I got Batman Arkham City for the WiiU today, only €16 including Parcel Motel, plus it has all the DLC included.
I bought it for the 360 originally but it never got played so, true to form, I traded it in.

Got this in the post this morning, Raiden Densetsu, soundtrack to the original PCB (not the MD/SNES ports). It has an arrange track and some sound effects on it also. A nice little addition to the few bits of Raiden gear I have. Delighted with it.

Comes with spine & reg cards, sticker and a note sheet of the arrange track. The gummy bears and packs of trading cards were a nice touch from the seller. :)

Nice get. I'm holding out for more price drops on arkham city and origins (which I traded in for nsmb before Xmas)

I reckon both will be gotten for between 10-15euro in time.

Best strategy is to focus on upgrading your health from the get go, as its so low to start with.
