Can you buy binoculars in Galway City?

    I was just wondering if anyone knew of a camera shop or similar in Galway city that carries a good range of binoculars? Ideally, I'd like to try out the binoculars before buying them.

    Price range is about €200-€250 and was thinking of something like the Opticron Discovery or the Hawke Nature trek. The binoculars will be needed for birdwatching.

    Any advice / experience on the above bins or similar would be welcome too.

    Galway Camera Shop on Shop Street sell new and second-hand binoculars
    Argos also carry a reasonably decent range
