Doctor Who's next series will air as one complete run, Steven Moffat has confirmed.

Good to hear; season 7 was just too disjointed, how much of that was down to the gap is difficult to say but it couldn't have helped; and with a new (potentially divisive) Doctor on the way, the Beeb presumably want to keep the momentum going.

My only wish and hope is that series 8 gets a bit more money than before; year on year Who seems to be getting a little tattier/cheaper around the edges of its production.
