Second song called Temptation in quick succession.

I remember this from Trainspotting, mainly.

I'm pretty sure I have the soundtrack to Trainspotting....:)

Howard Jones is a class act.

I wonder how often he gets mistaken for Nik Kershaw?

Howard was a great man for the jumpsuits......

I think you kids call them "onesies" nowadays.......

This must have been a school concert.

    I'm feeling like Methuselah here...

Another thing I never saw the appeal of. Jesus everyone I knew thought that was the best thing ever when it came out.

Ah, was wondering when PSB would show up.

    "Inner...inner city...inner city life..."

I didn't see half the film I was behind the couch.

    Though I loved Shallow Grave.

Neil Tennant was once Editor of 'Smash Hits!'

I know he did well afterwards, but it still can't have been as good.

    And with that sudden stop,

I'd like to dedicate that half hour to the pair of ye for lasting the pace.

I love the way none of these guys bother having anyone pretend they're playing drums, but make sure they have as many keyboards on view as possible!

    1979.

Year I walked to the Park to see El Papa.

Galway for the Mass the next day.

The nuns were delighted with us.

Not sure I would have enjoyed it all that much without the Beebrock thread!

Ah, this was a sad story.

Guy was the courier for the Music Company and he died in an accident.

So Elton did this as a tribute for him.

    I think.

    Elton looks miserable.

He was probably considering hiring a dozen Keyboard players in order to keep up with the Kids.

Edit: Ah, I didn't know about the song. No offence meant.

It was called "Song for Guy".......:(

It's easy forget how extensive is Elton's Back Catalogue.

He has been writing hits (with Bernie) for a long time.

Well, as long as the nuns were happy, I guess.

Year I was born. Mother used to think it was a big deal. Till she stopped buying what the Pope was selling.

TOTP is so hit and miss, hope there's just one guitar soon. Don't care if it's mimed.
