Opinions Astra 1.7 tdci

    Anyone know much about a Vauxhall astra 1.7 diesel tdci, was told they can be heavy on fuel any one have any experience?

    They've been doing 1.7 Astras since the very early 90s so can you narrow it down?

    I thought the bonnet wasn't fully closed:confused:
    If it is like that when closed i would run away.

    Doesn't look like an elite anyway. No remote audio, black bits on the bumpers and rubbing strips, plastic steering wheel

    Looks like an astra design spec.

    I was thinking the same but then looked again and thought maybe the bonnet might not be closed properly?

    Any chance the vauxhall had different spec levels - basic model with some extras for example?
    Not defending the car but it doesn't look that bad, unless the bonnet is actually closed.

    Even in the uk the elite model is one of the top specs.

    I think the seats an door cards might be a design spec retrofit. Dash trim should be piano black too. I can pick out bits from 3 different spec levels on that car.

    One to miss as said.
