We are a hot adult contemporary station looking for presenters to volunteer for various slots throughout the week. To be considered for this job you will need:
-A stable internet connection
-A music collection
-A microphone
We aren't looking for short linking jocks with little charisma, we want presenters with personality and passion for what they do. A knowledge of music or simply even just a bit of humor is all it takes to rock the airwaves.
We would ask are presenters to commit to a daily or weekly slot.
ie. Weekdays:
Drivetime (4-7), Mid-Morning (10-1), Evening (7-10), Breakfast (6-10).
Specialist programming overnight and during weekend hours is applicable to this application eg. dance or indie music shows
Whilst we try to keep most of our programming exclusive to our own station, we would except syndicated music, speech or dance shows to apply.

8Radio.com is a new online radio station from Dublin which will commence broadcasts in Spring 2013. The 8Radio musical philosophy is simple – “Playing the music we like”. This means playing the songs we like, regardless of genre, with all choices being based on song quality.
8Radio.com is now recruiting volunteer presenters and backroom staff for its online launch in early March and temporary FM broadcasts which will run at weekends from late March to late June 2013. Presenters will be expected to be available for approximately 4 hours per week for the 8Radio.com online schedule and a further 4 hours at weekends while the temporary FM service is running. Backroom staff will be expected to be available for approximately 4 hours per week.

RTÉ Radio wishes to appoint a Creative Audio Production Coordinator to oversee and creatively lead commercial and production audio including on air branding elements across all RTÉ Radio services. This is a specialised role offering real opportunity to those with the skills and knowledge to produce audio which is all about results.
The post holder will report to the Day Control Supervisor within Broadcast Services, RTÉ Radio.
The Creative Audio Production Coordinator will join up RTÉ Radio’s station sounds, on air marketing, and commercial audio delivery; ensuring the highest standards of creativity and production. The successful candidate will directly lead the creation and implementation of station imaging across RTÉ Radio as well as designing and supervising in-house commercial production. S/he will provide the editorial and commercial teams across all of RTÉ Radio with a product that is instantly identifiable and of exceptionally high quality.
In addition to the design elements of the role, the successful candidate will work in studio; mixing promos, audio brand elements and commercial copy. Working with Station, Marketing and Communications management in Radio, the Creative Audio Production Coordinator will also contribute to overall brand evolution within RTÉ and will work effectively with partners from across the organisation
Candidates will have significant experience in station imaging and audio production at local, national and/or international level with a proven track record in audio production, strategic imaging campaigns and commercial production techniques. S/he will also have an excellent understanding of the Irish radio sector and market.
The successful candidate will supervise budgets for production resources and effectively supervise studio and resource time. An ability to prioritise production based on need is also essential. The post holder will have a good knowledge of modern audio production and delivery. Proficiency in pro tools and Adobe Audition is also essential.
The Creative Audio Production Coordinator will have excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships. S/he will have the ability to demonstrate and successfully implement creative ideas/concepts for stakeholders.
This post will be part of RTÉ Radio’s Broadcast Services and will be offered on a fixed-term employment contract basis for two years.
Applicants are invited to submit Curriculum Vitae together with cover letter (attach as on document). On receipt of the application the applicant will be provided with credentials to upload a portfolio. The portfolio should be a collation of audio and written work completed to date in respect of audio and creative strategy work either for other broadcasters or media agencies etc. The audio should be no longer than 10 minutes in total.

It's a 42 week full-time course focused on developing practical skills and delivered in a live radio station. The idea is to provide trainees with the right mix of knowledge, skills and attitude needed to begin a career in radio. 36 weeks training, 6 week industry placement.

WLR FM is currently recruiting a presenter co-host the hugely popular Big Breakfast Blaa breakfast show. The successful candidate will need to hit the ground running and have a strong work ethic and be a good team player.
Ideally you will be multi-skilled and be able to throw some ideas into the mix regarding promotions, content and imaging.
An understanding and a fluent ability to use social media platforms and update websites is preferable. You need to be able to understand and appreciate our brand in order to succeed at this role long-term.

I missed that one, unfortunately I don't think its suitable for me as they are looking for a news/journalism producer, I run a self produced and promoted independent EDM show, I've been building it up for 2 years now and it goes out to over 180,000 every week to a large network of stations and up to 48,000 people directly on my app, I've had over 700,000 downloads on my podcast back catalogue this year too, figures many regional stations would be proud of achieving for one little show. I've got a background in marketing, I'm sure I would be a great asset to any station, I just have to keep looking for a job, its a shame really as WLR is local to me. I will post up any more radio jobs I find in the hope that it may help somebody else on here looking for a job in radio, this thread is great for keeping up to date on what's out there.0 -
