6pm is fine. Anything under 50 is grand and a jump is expected as network load(not just UPCs network but the rest of the irish net) goes up.

Last result, thats a problem. Not too dissimilar to issues I have. Get onto UPC and berate them to escalate it to their networks team.

anything under 50 is grand? its been sub 15 for the last year until last Thursday it just went to crap. spikes from 10-50 isn't really any use for playing fps games either(ISDN-esque all over again). I've gotten on to them but 20minutes per answered phonecall to be told there's no reported problem on their end and they will look into it :/

Near Meath Road. On 100/10mbit package since Last Spring. Ping and DL speed variable for first few weeks 20-100ms ping and 50-80mbit.

The day I bridged our EPC3925 to an Asus Router the speed test results in my sig are what I have gotten 24/7/365.

Using the UPC speed test the Speed results are always the same but with ping of 7-9ms
Pinging boards gives a consistent ping of 7-9ms

ping anywhere else except for boards tho and at 8-9pm tonight, irishtimes.com, bbc.com, google.ie, rte.ie.

for some reason my ping to boards was ok but everywhere else was crap (starcraft/bf4 servers were crap for me and the websites listed above)

and ive a friend on the meath road who tested this for me and his ping was awful as well

Only saw your post late. 3am pings not that they are diagnostically important were 7-9ms for the Irishtimes and Google but I get 'General Failure' when trying to ping RTE or BBC. Presumably their servers are set nbot to respond to ping requests.
