I had my nose piercing done about 3 years ago. One time it seemed to have a minor infection, it was swollen and bleeding a little but I washed it a lot and it got better. This is different...it now has a small white lump, almost looks like a little bubble, around the piercing hole and there's a lump on the inside of my nostril by the piercing hole that resembles a zit, but harder. Is my piercing possibly infected? It hasn't leaked any fluids except a clear liquid when I was poking around at it but it's not seeping and it doesn't hurt at all. Im worried for two reasons:
    1. I don't want to have a permanent bubble/scar on my nose
    AND
    2. Two months after I first got the piercing I started getting bad headaches and to this day I get them. I was diagnosed with migraines and they never quite figured out what caused them but my bloodwork constantly comes back like I'm fighting off an infection-white blood cell count is always off, among other things (there are other symptoms too, like sore joints and they're leaning toward rheumatoid arthritis as a diagnosis so it may be unrelated) and I'm not sure if this is possible BUT in the back of my mind I keep thinking "what if my piercing was infected from the start and now it's spread to my brain and bloodstream?" But the strange blood test results and the migraines all started before any visible bumps or problems with the piercing so it could just be coincidence that the headaches started shortly after the nose piercing was done.

I will take out the piercing if I have to, but I really do like the way it looks so if this bump is not a severe problem and can be healed I'd like to take care of it and keep the piercing.

Sounds like a keloid but hard to say without seeing it, if it is then vitamin e works wonders but get it looked at by whoever pierced it or by a doctor first to make sure

I would strongly advise going to see a dermatologist about that as its on your face.

    Ask your GP
