Sony smart TV + upc horizon guide

Hi, Just got a sony smart tv and i am using upc horizon. The sony tv has a built in TV guide. Does anyone know if it is possible to connect the upc guide to the sony tv guide ?? When I set it up I keep getting " feature not available "

Not usually. It might be able to read the EPG data if its got a DVB-C tuner, but such a thing is rare on TVs aimed at the Irish market as UPC does not offer a CAM in the Irish market.

The EPG in the TV is for DVB-T only, so it won't work with the UPC digital tv, only broadcast terrestrial digital TV.
