I think you should post the reg so someone doesn't get stung later.

what do you mean by that?

    Probably a daysul anyway

+ If it is genuine there aren't that many to make it that hard to find

It was flooded right? Probably a write off so I wouldn't like to see someone get stung with that car if it pops up for sale again, hence post the reg number.

Wonder what's the count for cars destroyed by the recent flooding. I'm thinking it's in to the early hundreds.

A little spot today on my way to work:

    w5es.jpg

Brabus D6 Diesel :| Wheels show that it's a "fake". Saw this car couple of years ago with much nicer wheels. There is also another Brabus D6 Diesel with reg plates 07-D-2008

Fake but still good looking fake (except those wheels)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,480 ✭✭✭ofcork

You know those brabus are not fakes like an A4 tri with RS4 badges, they are offical upgrades.

Yes i know that. that's why i write "fake" :) But when you say Brabus i think Mercedes with too much power... Do you know if this upgrades add some power or it's kind of "S-Line" and it's only body kit ?

Those upgrades add around 30 or 40 bhp plus more torque as well as bodykit, different stages like D2,D4 etc and they have the correct badges. The most powerful brabus s class is the 850hp version!

Today I saw Audi A1 Quattro on english plates in the same place where i saw Brabus yesterday. Unfortunatelly i was on my way to gym so no camera or even phone with me. Saw him again when i was in the gym, he was travelling with old Mini.

Motor Tax website says it's 1200 to tax so it is an S500.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,480 ✭✭✭ofcork

That is a 5.5 litre, in the states it's an S550 great to see cars like it being sold.

Without wishing to be pedantic, it's a 4.7 as is the S550.

Good to see that people are buying tomorrow's bangernomics and luxobarge cars today, and being kind enough to take the depreciation hit!

True. I wouldn't mind owning a newer S-Class someday but I sure as hell couldn't afford one new.

Can't wait for that S-Class to be around 15k :D
