    Anyone spotted that old school Merc cruising around Limerick after dark?

    It's a really vintage curvy style one, not the way more common boxy early 90' ones.... no idea of a model....but it's BLACK, with whitewall tyres and serious attitude! I don't have a camera phone so I won't be getting a pic of it anytime soon but i'd love to see it again.

    '81 VW Passat. Spotted at the top of O'Connell St.

    Had a small chat with the owner. Said he'd just got it registered today, was imported from the UK, one of only two that were present there. Nice fella, hope it runs well for him. Started first time anyway :p

    That Passat's a damn sight nicer than those god-damn paddy-wagons that every lad and his dog owns these days(and don't get me started on that stupid whistling noise from the turbo which I think is a result of fiddling about with the intake, don't kid yourselves lads, it still sounds like a tractor)

    Dunno why the MX-5 is on ramps, I prefer a car to be displayed sitting on the ground, as was intended by the designers.

    Drove one a few years back, very go-kart like and fun as hell!!! :D
