New Toshiba tv discoloration

I have my xbox hooked up to my new Toshiba Regza 32EL833 TV. But any dark area of the games gets a purple tint and goes away if i move about? I'm using the standard xbox scart (yellow,white,red connectors) as there is no colour match for the connectors at the rear. Any ideas?? should i just get a hdmi cable? You can see…

You can see the discoloration under the car and on the pillars.

Stop using the scart, even without the discolouration!

Sometimes the green/blue plugs don't have matches and you have to mess around to get them right. No HDMI on Xboxs?
