Stream from PC to Android with subtitles

Hey all, I have a bunch of video files on my pc that I stream to my playstation using ps3 media server. I've also used this to stream to my phone using skifta on my phone, which works fine except when the files in question have associated srt subtitle files - the subtitles don't display on phone. Hey all,

I have a bunch of video files on my pc that I stream to my playstation using ps3 media server. I've also used this to stream to my phone using skifta on my phone, which works fine except when the files in question have associated srt subtitle files - the subtitles don't display on phone.

Any ideas or apps I can use to get around this? I don't want to have to get the subtitles embedded into the video files if possible.

I use emit
iirc it can do subtitles as well.
