70D Ebay deal, is there a catch? Any better deals ?

    First thing I see is its not a 70D, its a EOS Rebel T3i which is the US version....http://www.2cameraguys.com/Canon-EOS-Rebel-T3i-vs-Canon-EOS-70D.htm

    ah, you may be on to something there. The title of the listing says "Canon EOS 70D 20.2 MP Digital SLR Camera Body + 3 Year Warranty Included IN UK" however further down it says "Canon EOS Rebel T3i 18 MP Digital Camera body NEW -USA".

    So at best it's misleading. Thanks for your help

    So just wondering, seeing as it's January, a time of sales etc, does anyone know anywhere that I might get a deal on this camera (body only) ? anyone aware of any sales or discount codes or anything ?

    The Rebel T3i is a 600D which has been superceeded by the 650D and now the 700D and not the US version of the 70D.

    Is there a catch? I can live with it if it's a HK import and I realise Canon may not cover warranty here. But is there anything I am missing with this and similar listings ?

    Where does it say it's anything else but the 70D? Can't see it myself, photo shows a 70D.

    I've decided to stop arsing around and I've ordered a 70D from Amazon. Sod it, peace of mind, warranty European build etc. I feel great for having done it and that's worth the extra couple of hundred - to me anyways.
