I don't wan't to start a war or create problems but I'd like to see who the men and women of AH support? We all have a soft team right?

My father lived and worked in Inchicore in his early years and we were raised as Pats fans, but his soft spot from his time abroad was Croydon and Crystal Palace FC. I've posted about Palace in the past in AH. :pac:

Who do do support in the football, any team here or abroad? I know AH doesn't like sport but British football has had such an impact here considering its vast media exposure. I think we all must have some fav team deep down.

Freedman the Palace legend he still is should never have left the gates of Selhurst Park. Palace under Pulis will stay up this year, Bolton won't make the playoffs imo.

In all honesty, I think they're playing not get relegated down to League 1. Shocking bunch of players this season.

Bohemians are the only team I actively support. That said, I do have a lot of interest in other leagues internationally - going to Madrid to see Atletico versus Barca in two weeks. :)

Dwight Gayle, Chamakh and Cameron Jerome will continue to get the goals, Pulis sets them up to take points off of fellow strugglers. In defence they have the mighty Damien Delaney and Mile Jeninak. The rumour for January is that they'll get Shay Given between the sticks.

Fair play, football threads in AH normally last about 23 nano seconds before getting closed.

He was, I'm slow to pickup sometimes. Bolton will hang around the champ until they get their act together, can't see 'Douugie' bringing them up in their present state though.

At least you guys still stood behind Leeds in their bad days, I'd a lad who moved to City when Leeds went to the third tier.

It makes you laugh really, lets say Wexford rediscover their 96 talent for the small ball and all the KK and Tipp fans defect.

Lots of different forms of 'football'

Association: Manchester United and Drogheda United
    Gaelic : Meath
    Rugby: Leinster
Australian: Don't have one but seems like a sport I could get into
American: dont waste my time with that abomination

I think that's all the sports with football in its name

Rugby League football is another, I don't follow it. Association was what I was looking for. I support Munster Rugby Union football and the NY Giants in that American game. Cnuts didn't make the playoffs this year though.

Guys like Eli Manning now have 9 months off on top pay. It must be some life.

In most of Ireland, football refers to Gaelic.

Association Football is called Soccer here.

    I support Cork.

I'm always amused by the England-centred universe of the Soccer Sorrys.

Why should somebody from Ballynabogs support an English soccer club?

It takes all kinds I suppose.

If Irish soccer followers supported their local clubs instead of spending their money travelling to games in England and buying overpriced English club gear, we might have a few half-decent teams here.

What's it like being a Porto fan having won the Champions League then having to switch to Chelsea, having success there and then being told your an Inter fan. Enjoy another Champions League and then abruptly becoming a Real Madrid fan. And then getting to be a Chelsea fan again?

I'm a Tipp man living in Wexford, so have an excuse to defect if that ever happens
