    To attract skangers.

As the saying goes "nothing flies like a TDI"

    2000 Fiat Seicento Sporting
    1.1 Petrol, manual
    30k Miles
    NCT 8/14, TAX 3/14
    €850
This would make for a good little car at €750. I've had loads and they never got boring!

/\ i'd rather walk, ughhh, but each to their own.

and in the event of a smash, you'll not walk out of it....

Of course, not everyone likes certain cars. I myself, would have one over a similarly priced Micra, unless it was a K10 of course.

Meh, its got a 2 star NCAP rating just like the K11 Micra. Safety is a 90s car isn't a huge concern for me, I was hit by a Toyota Avensis taxi and sent into a tree in a K10 Micra two years ago, went out and bought a Vauxhall Nova afterwards.

But of course, if you want something safe, a Micra looks safer than a Seicento.

I'd probably drive that Saab as it is to be honest, I like it.

you know its the one with the 2.2 engine that like to sh!t themselves, the 1.9 is the only choice, if you'd have to have one of these.

I know nothing about Saabs, I'd only bother with an Aero though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,055 ✭✭✭Mr.Fred

I had an aero saab ss and to be honest the build quality is ****e.

Sure there's a fair bit of poke in them but I nearly replaced everything from the ground up before selling it on to a garage for buttons.

They look good from a distance that's about it. I like the look of the 95 but couldn't bring myself to owning another saab.

I don't get the love for them either tbh. I'd rather a Volvo, same kind of price range for used ones and much better build quality imo.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,855 ✭✭✭nd

I like the looks of them for the age. And they are different and don't have a very bad reliability reputation.

But have nvr sat in one.

    ...yeah, there's better yokes to buy alright.......anyways, I'm off out for a pint x 25 .

Happy new year to all bangernomophiles!

I don't get the hype about them myself, well the newer gm based models that is. They are only average in every department imo. Saab really overdone it with the aircraft heritage thing IMO.

The only thing that gm Saab's have in common with aircraft is that they are both expensive to run :pac:

Are you elderly, or do you have sight issues? Are you on a budget? Then this is the car for you....NCT April 14, taxed to August 14, asking 2k.

If you really want an MX5, an automatic is just wrong.
Sure I bought my manual Roadster for €900.

Yeah, I'd say most agree with you, but I really like autos. I'd prefer an auto 'box in any car over a manual.
