I don't think they can use the shared cash as an accurate indication you cheated, you may have legitimately shared a lot of money. Ok, it won't be in the millions, but it could be in the hundreds of thousands. They also have to remove cash earned via bounties.

Most games have in depth metrics that track everything you do and send it back to them so they can determine what people like/don't like etc. No doubt they track how much money is added to your account and how it was added, so I'd imagine they might use that data instead.

I'll be sad to see it go, once you have loads of money you stop caring and just enjoy the game, just sending mercs, muggers after people, setting bounties, getting backup copters. This is what GTA is all about. In the single player games, you were never struck for money. There was never a time where you couldn't do something due to lack of money, and while I understand why they changed that for online, I think just level locking items was enough, there really is no need to have a car priced at 1 million for example.

It's clear that online was set-up and tuned to encourage micro-transactions, and I'm glad these hackers have come in and ruined Rockstar's economy. There is nothing I hate more than devs/publishers trying to get people to spend more money after they already spent €60. It's a pathetic move and I'm delighted it's backfired on them.

Holy user created race tracks batman. Some of them a real pain. Just had 5 in a row, all useless.

You have to get up to level 5 before you can buy a garage or an apartment. You'll fly through that with an evenings racing.
The guy outside LSC probably had a few million dollars on his head and wanted it to go to you.
Something tells me that really lower ranked players can't claim bounties over the last week or so. I could be wrong, but two of my friends who are new to the game couldn't collect them in our private lobbies. Just standard 9k bounties too.

Was just having a dual with a guy with a 300+ rank. I'm 54 rank. He killed me first so I killed him about 6 or 7 times then he fecked off with himself. Kept coming at me with rpgs and grenades and I stuck with my assault rifle!!
He was totally clueless, never took cover or anything and I would be far from a skilled player!

Quick question about the online chat options....if I set my chat to "Crew and Friends" can others still hear me, or is it just limited to crew and friends? With this set I can only hear crew and friends, just wondering if randomers can hear us planning all kinds of skullduggery on unsuspecting players....

The only way I know is to go into the 'Players' screen in the pause menu and individually mute the players with headsets. There's probably an easier way to do it though.

Absolutely nobody? Go xbox guide, settings, preferences, voice, and turn voice volume to zero.

Crappy mics that are way too close to their faces! Possibly also the headphone jack is half out of the controller.
