    went to the slieve russell a year or two back on one of those super value breaks. i can honestly say one of the most disappointing feeds i ever ate. The staff were bloody rude too. I hope its changed.
    Lovely rooms though.

    This is my second time and both were great. The wedding one was a bit odd as I was with a dairy farmer so cattle discussion was the call of the night, today was family as we had a voucher to use up.

    Floods everywhere round here with this weather yesterday, up in Drumshanbo last night and was tempted to stay there instead of driving back in the rain:eek:

    an associates family got barred from the Slieve Russell:D. and no they didnt arrive in Hiaces. Something got to do with a missing 6ft Santa clause I was told :). Jasus the company I frequent

    Some would say that's God's country ( between ballyconnell & drumshambo), especially travelling through dowra, narrow windy roads, with steep mountain falls & no verges.
    You'd have to be praying to pass successfully

    Naw, they were off doing something with mushroom compost today. Think I met that tanker as well when I was heading for Ballyconnell!:eek:

    I was out for a few last night and every second lad was snotting and snuffling , manflu must be rife !
