Premier League on Eurosport Romania

Eurosport has acquired the rights to broadcast matches of English Premier League in Romania for the period 2013-2016 starting from 21 December 2013. The Romanian version of the channel Eurosport will broadcast live matches in each round, but in the near line (28/29 December) it will be until five games - three on Saturday and two on Sunday.

Rights matches Premier League in Romania were originally sold to a group of Multi Media Sports ( MMS ) in February 2013. The agreement was signed for $ 20 million. However, the sender does not comply with the payment terms and the contract was terminated. MMS has also acquired the rights to the English Premier League in Spain , which resells the company IMG . Eurosport need to run a special version of the main channel in Romania , because the same version gave also to Hungary , the Czech Republic and Slovakia , where the sender does not have the rights to broadcast meetings of the Premier League . The backhaul transmission is performed via satellite Eutelsat Hot Bird 13 C (13 ° E) , where the Romanian charge digital platforms and cable networks. not sure its only showing up as romanian audio on my box,

and you would need a viaccess cam i presume same as was needed for al jazeera

I was thinking is it a Focussat subscription - which can be picked up pretty cheap - I think

Or RCS Digi TV sub - not seen many of them around for a while though

Just testing it out on both 13e & 1w, Picture is much better on 13e.

West Ham v WBA not on live as listed though, they're showing downhill Skiing currently.

*EDIT*

Now showing Premier League Live only on 1w with a poor SD picture & no English on either channel.

But a handy option though, never the less.

its on a Channel ESP EPL Romania on 13 east its a seperate channel than eurosport romania .

Is it on the main Eurosport frequency on 13 east? Im struggling to find it. Ive got ESP Romania but it seems its different?

I found it, deleted and rescanned the transponder you gave at top of thread.

yes the old eurosport romania has been renamed Esp epl Romania

a new europsport romania started - but thats just the standard eurosport replacing the one removed

re scan it is there but only works on viaccess its ESP epl romania
not clearing for me as im not using cam

upc romania are advertising it

rc diga Pulled eurosport from hungary after complaints but will continue in romania - but maybe that is why the new version started up

are you sure this network in on 13 east hotbird ? it says 4 east here http://www.lyngsat.com/packages/akta.html

i am looking for the channel on 13 east if any one can give some more info

you can get Eurosport from Dolce Tv at 39' east in Sd or HD

11.240 V 27500 3/4 is Sky Italy .On this transponder is Eurosport Romania without english league,is only Eurosport in romanian . For english league you need Dolce Tv on Hellas Sat,ch 303

there is an add on ebay selling a Focus sat card with english premier league

you can get it on 13 east yes - just not sure what card you need - focus sat seems the most likely atm

Focussat is an Romanian Provider (DTH),on Thor at 0,8'W. To receive Focussat in Ireland you need 1-1,2 meter dish!

For DolceTV you need only 0,8meter dish ( is ok even with sky dish).
On same pakage you have: HBO HD, Discovery,Animal Planet,History,National Geographic HD,MGM,5 AXN,....about 110 ch including 7-9 HD channels.
