maddest thing is 18200 players used their wildcard this week WTF wait till 1st Jan

Plenty of players don't know the rules and don't know there is a jan wild card. I know a fella who was doing poorly and did a 12 pt hit this week to sort his team out. He was rather annoyed when he was told there was a wild card next week. :D

Fair play. I've also gone on an eight week green run but am having my worst season to date.

Gone from 2,082,488 to 1,371,234. Only managed to climb around 1,000 places this gameweek.

I have had some rises of 1000 also, when I start seeing greens I would be happy with 1 place to keep it.will prob go on a run of reds now ,

Got a very good score this week. 67 points I believe. Slightly cheers me up after some terrible scores of late. Did get a bit lucky as my captain Toure was rested and Lukaku was my vice captain.

Oh, I'm not complaining. I expect my run may come to an end now with injuries starting to take their toll.

Just getting to MOTD2 there now. Suarez assist not at all how I remember it! In my defence I was trying to play monopoly with my wee fella while watching the game. Apologies for my inaccurate post earlier in thread.

I actually think it was an assist no question having watched it a load of times....

81 points with a four point hit. Not a bad week.

Does not compute. I think what you meant to say is: "what a deadly week." :pac:

    That's over the eight weeks?

    Nice rise.

55 pts, 10 players played & with captain Rooney & vc Toure not involved it wasn't too bad a result. Mainly green arrows. Did get knocked out of cup tho by 1 point.

62 pts and rose from 160k to 107k, recovering slowly after I plummeted from 23k to 400k a few months back after some horror choices.

Feel like I'm making better decisions over Xmas and its slowly paying off. Hope to camp myself in the Top 100 in the new year and this forum is a great help for that.

Tottenham disagree. Nobody can be expected to bang them in against all the big teams especially away from home

Spurs aside then, an out of sorts spurs. Other than that he doesn't do it against good sides barring a free kick against everton, a game in which he did nowt else. Note to self for future.

The thing is we and everyone else with any sense will have the (C) back on Luis on new years day, he can score a dozen goals and nobody will make any ground on anyone worth making ground on, yesterday he could have been a differential although Yaya and Rooney's no shows meant he was probably the massive majority captain anyway.

Anyway I finished on 57, all my subs came in to give me 11 scoring players. Easily won my cup tie in the end although it looked certain that Colemans goal would finish me, my opponent had Distin also so that Southampton goal was the highlight of my weekend, I had Jagielka so it was extra sweet.

For RoryC, I'm not sure if my info swayed you as regards McGregor, a guy from physioroom.com who are usually on the ball pretty much ruled him out the day before, I had Boruc and McGregor myself and decided to swap out Boruc for Mannone, kept McGregor and put him in goal expecting Mannone to be subbed in, that move (easy to do but something people often overlook) worked out very well for me.

He got an assist in that game too. Didn't play against United. Got an assist against Chelsea. I think we can forgive him not getting anything away to City or Arsenal. The chap is human after all but his stats against the big teams don't make for bad reading at all.

Combination of info on here and from news sources, all pointed to him not starting. It's frustrating but can't complain as it was a good week. Little decisions like this are proving massively costly each week though, that one alone cost me 8 points!

He played v.well against City. Against Chelsea he should have had a peno, if he' scored that he would have been the hero again (villain for non-captainers like me). Last year he scored against City, Arsenal and twice against Chelsea. One in two against the Top 4. Very harsh to say he's not a big game player (not you but liam, quoted the wrong person).

My 46 seems pretty crap judging by the scores being posted here. But then again, I didn't have a captain this week so it could have been a lot worse. Also went through in my cup game so that's a bonus, even though I don't give the cup too much credence.

St. Stephen's Day aside, I've been on a poor run of late, going from just outside 50k to now just inside 150k.

    still creeping up.

    top 400k-ish now.

    i don't want to say where i was 6 weeks ago :P

Hazard staying quiet would've been nice, but i can't complain with 66 (-4) this week.

Delighted, won a private cup competition without a captain and vice!

    61 points
    Overall Points 1,191
    Overall Rank 27,477
Up to 53rd in the boards league :p

He was excellent against everton motm after playing in uruguay 2 days before. He also had a very good game against city without getting any ff returns. He played poorly against Hull the last time so dont captain him on wednesday so. Id imagine you dont like liverpool too much judging by some of your comments on here. This isnt really that type of forum though.

    Anybody see the Spurs match?

Looking to see how Ericksen played, was he involved much?

I only saw motd highlights but was looking out for him. He played on left but drifted in most of the attacks shown, could have had an assist and should have scored one that deflected to him 2 yards out but he didn't react quick enough.

Was hopeful enough about him from that.
