Was gonna slate Roses & Quality St for having discontinued the flavours i liked.... but I see that Roses has brought back some sort of Coffee Creme variety.
Can anybody confirm whether it is the same as before?

Nope, they replaced the green caramel chocolate with a caramel chocolate and coffee truffle.

Actually, I don't know, did their last coffee have caramel too?

    ____
The Roses, have gotten pretty bad lately, trying to keep the same cost, so they've had to lower quality. ):

    ___
I love ferror rocher, but they seem to have come down in quality too.
Either that or the shop is selling old stock.

    Nothing Christmassy about Toblerones.

Roses have gone to ****e, the chocolate they use has noticeably changed for the worse.

Thorntons taste like what Roses used to be like.

Not a big chocolate eater but Roses would be my first choice.

I was really disappointed that Heros had a Toberrone (never a fan since I gave myself a mental image of clipped toenails trapped inside a chocalate bar) I use to love Roses and Quality Street, but if I was going to vote for one it would be Heros, (mind you I wouldn't mind trying some of the Milka bars suggested here yum, yum tuc and chocalate):)

    Quality Streets

They are the only ones who haven't changed their recipe or shuffled around the wrappers etc down through the years.. they are the same now as they were when I was a kid.. or pretty close anyway!

I know where I stand with those badboys!!
They are insipidly sweet compared to what they used to be, and Nestle chocolate isn't as nice as the old Rowntree Mackintosh stuff.

Once they took out the Bourneville's it was all downhill for Roses.

No that's crystal meth. Quality street are better than Roses now because Nestle isn't on a suicide mission like Cadburys is.

A box of Lemons sweets makes a nice change from all the chocolate.

Zubes Christmas selection. Mmmmm, clear head passages.

This is actually the first year ever we got no tins of sweets at all. Roses used to be the main treat for about Christmas time, but recent years they really are just cheap ****e. I remember when i was a kd my mum used to pay near twenty pounds for a tin of roses, was pure luxury that one time a year. There was about 1.5 kilos in them then. There were soft green coconut ones and the little blue shell ones that only I liked and mini bourneville and ones in red orange wrappers that tasted like they had bits of tasty sweet glass in them. I have not heard the word Montellimar in a long long time.

Since they became a 5.99 special in petrol stations, they are just gak. Yuk, yak, gak and yok.

Celebrations marginally ahead of heroes... Would be streets ahead of all competition except for the bounty.

Quality street are gank & don't even deserve a mention

Roses have been all homogenous and boring, can't tell one from another. Quality Street has far exceeded them in quality
