Oblivion weapon strengths

I've started playing Oblivion on the PC and I find it hard to tell exactly how strong weapons are - I'm guessing it has something to do with your character's strength, but I'm not sure. I was almost certain that it displayed the damage done on the Xbox version, but I might have that wrong. It seems that the weapons only…
