    If I don't get a call before 8am tomorrow I'm off until the 2nd of January :D

Whyyyyyyyyyy do people put capital letters on words that shouldn't have them in the middle of sentences and put x's after every single post!

Last time there was a lightening storm in Kerry, it struck the bottom of the drive at my house. I thought lightening was meant to hit the highest object in the area?

Lots and lots of things a forever getting on my nerves. Big thing lately is baby photos all over my newsfeed. I don't mind people sharing pictures of their kids but some people actually take the biscuit! Using the child to garner likes! Uggghhh..

Oh nevah mind me I'm just rambling and grumbling to myself. :D:D I havn't a fecking clue about lightning lol! But, preferably would like to have the Shutter shield me from the storminess if it didn't make me room dark. :) But now that ya mention it, would that not mean that it would work down the ways then?!? No clue. Anyways it doesn't matter. Anyone up to anything exciting? :)

Oh that's one of mine too. And no offence if anyone does it but I don't really like when people change their profile pics to a photo of them and their bf/gf kissing.. :o

I got an email from a friend today, complaing she had to resort to email to contact me since I don't check Facebook. How it was any more effort for her to send me an email I have no idea....

Don't get me started on that crap. I hate it! I don't mind public displays of affection, well to a certain extent. But a profile pic of two people kissing just screams at me "LOOK!! I'M IN A RELATIONSHIP AND I'M LOVED!! REALLY!! I AM!!" It's sad!

Not so much about relationships but about people who show off on Facebook that they are in a relationship.

Let me share a story with you. I was friends with a guy who I will describe in a polite way as pug ugly. He somehow managed to land himself into a relationship with some bombshell of a young wan and suddenly my newsfeed was bombarded by pictures of him and her pretty much riding each other. Nobody needed to see it. Seriously nobody.

And my god if she put up a selfie of herself and another guy commented on it, he would go ape! He loved showing off what he had but dare any other say how pretty she is.

I got sick of it one day when he put up a picture of his girlfriend getting changed. I don't think she was even aware. He captioned the picture " I am so lucky. Love her loads" Ok, you might love her loads but why are you showing her off so much? We get it! She's hot! But you're bordering creepy now!

I called him out over it and he started arguing with me but he lost and lost badly. Not too long after he deleted me. She's still friends with me. I don't mind her as such, she's actually all right and doesn't post much only pictures of herself posing. He on the other hand according to a mate of mine says he's getting worse and it's making him sick.

I hate people in relationships who show off on Facebook & it ends up on my news feed:mad:(I couldn't give two ****s if so & so are riding each other, just keep it off my ****ing newsfeed). The one you described as pug ugly for lack of a better description is kicking himself because he lost the best thing that EVER EVER EVER happened to him, how he pulled said blonde young wan will forever remain a mystery.

I abhor that behaviour on Facebook. And it's becoming such a done thing now which makes me weep. It's basically just one man upship. "Look at me, I am better than you. My boyfriend is better than yours and you'll never have what I have."

Bull****. I am engaged for nearly two years. I am with my OH nearly three. Not once have I felt the urge to spew stuff about how much we love each other over Facebook, day in, day out. By times yes, I will say things like I had a wonderful evening with OH or put up a photo of us at the lakes in Killarney or something silly as that but it's just that. A brief note to say, we're happy. We're content. I couldn't give a damn if it got a million likes or no likes.

I am a very private person and I do only share what I want to share. I am glad OH is the same. We don't have gooey conversations on Facebook because why would you in the first place? Who are we trying to prove your relationship to? Why would anyone want their relationship to be displayed on a public stage for everyone to see and nit pick at?

I am rambling here but the point is, it's sad. It's sad that people are abusing their relationships and their privacy and intimacy for their ego and to gain a few likes from nosy people.

I'm lucky enough that my facebook is just full of selfies, don't really have couples flaunting themselves in my single face.. I do kinda feel like some of the ladies in the lounge go on about their OHs a bit much though.. but thats just bitter old me :D

    edit: added a vital word!

My ex's brother and his girlfriend were like that. Every time I saw a stupid "I love you, had the best time ever, you're the best blah blah blah blah" status I felt like going "Eh, you do know there is a PRIVATE message function on the site!"

Another thing i hate about Facebook, is how people can use it to spread nasty **** around about others and just generally kick the hornet's nest to rile people.

I'd hate to see what you could do with a live microphone, good lord you'd be a female Axl Rose minus the storming of stage part
