What documents do you need to arrange bill-pay?

I'm looking to invest in a new mobile shortly after Christmas day, but I want to walk into a Vodafone store and come out with the phone fixed on bill-pay on the same day if possible.

There may be a waiting time. I don't know. But I do want to set the wheels in motion when I go into the shop, so what do I need - apart from money.

Bank statements? Passport? I want to know everything I need to, as I said, put the wheels in motion as soon as possible.

    Thanks.

PS - I also asked this in the Vodafone section because I am inpatient.

    Typically they'd want:

    1) Photo ID
    2) Proof of Address
    3) Account No. and Sort Code and a Bank Card with a chip and pin on it.

In some cases they may ask for proof of employment.
