I remember reading about this guy. Had never heard his name and would probably barely recognise it if I heard it again.

Roulon Gardner or something like that

He was wrestling champ in Olympics, had one fight in pride.
The only reason I know this is because he was on the biggest loser programme last year.

And if I'm right, I'll ask the exact same question as I answered, cause there's someone else!

Had Rulon Gardner but I see it was gotten. This was a tough one so had to do some research. This one is obscure.

That would be Alexander Karelin, probably the greatest athlete that very few people have heard of.

Didn't he have a move named after him? The Karelin toss or something like that where he basically picked you up from a turtle like position.

Ye that's right. It was a small mans move but because of his athleticism and freakish strength he do do it easily at heavyweight

Hong Man Choi went 1-2 after losing to 2 high profile guys, Fedor & Cro Cop, in successive fights.

He stopped his next, even more high profile, opponent in the first round. Who was the opponent?

Well, he wrote a tell all book and blew the lid of steroid abuse in Baseball. I remember the fight, he actually came to the ring with a baseball bat!

Pity he wasn't allowed use it because he didn't last long against Choi!

Today, 4oz open palm gloves are compulsory, but that wasn't always the case. Who was the first fighter to wear the now famous gloves in the Octagon.
