Anyone here have this for dessert after the big feed of turkey and ham? It's a tradition in my family

Sherry trifle was a family tradition for decades.

Nan and mum now passed away, no more sherry trifle, sad:(

Yep- always have sherry trifle in my house, followed by Christmas pudding and later Christmas cake. :)

I can't stand it but it's always been made. There's usually a mad dash to buy the sponge as no one remembers it until Christmas Eve and my mam insists that it has to be Superquinn sponge.
