Did Ireland ever get any? Can't seem to find any on adverts, HMV, Gamestop website. Anyone know how to get my hands on a european version of this XL (besides ebay)?

You could order it from the Nintendo UK online shop -- don't think they deliver to Ireland, but you'd be able to send it via Parcel Motel.

I ordered it from the Ninty UK shop as above - it's exclusive to the official site in Europe. Got it delivered to a relative up North. Pretty quick delivery too, was half-expecting Club Nintendo levels (months) of waiting.
