Leather and interior buttons etc look very fresh in the Mondeo, but I'd have doubts.

A very cheap 'luxury' car, though I don't think the GS has the same executive feel to it as the Legend or S Class would. A lovely car nevertheless.

They're definitely luxurious but a bit more sporty than an LS which would be more S Class, Legend, etc...

Nice car with test until 1/15. Like the pre-facelift look a lot more, rotten wheels though

It does look like a nice car - (although that model Mondeo really needs brighter colours to be at its best - Mk 6 Fiestas the same).

Would be nice to see proof of the mileage - otherwise its very strong money when as noted - newer ones can be bought for less money.

In all honesty - im not a fan of stupidly low mileage cars at 10 years old - I think its better for cars to be used a bit.

Id rather see them with with a bit of mileage on the clock - if you go over the 120/150,000 mile mark and the car drives nicely - is immaculate without issues - theres a chance someones minded it properly - especially the likes of Renaults or Fiats.

Ignore me though - im just been odd :(

    I agree 100%.

My Honda Legend now has over 300,000 kms on the clock and its running like clock work, its a sign that its been looked after and thats one of the reasons I bought it. Despite the mileage its genuinely like a new car, inside and (almost) outside bar a single small dent which I'm hoping to have fixed by January.

In my experience a genuine well minded low mileage car tends to be in much fresher condition compared with a genuine well minded high mileage car. I've seen high mileage cars in pretty good nick also though.

There is low and high mileage buckets of sh!te out there too. That Mondeo doesn't look in bad nick, the money is strong though as has been said.

Fair point - something at 10 years old with say 60 to 80,000 on the clock really well minded - could be very fresh and drive nice if its well minded.

I get weary of anything with much less then 50,000 miles on the clock at this sort of age - unless it was something I particularly wanted - and were hard got.

but what obviously counts far more then miles is the actual car itself in terms of its overall condition and how well its been minded.

That counts for an awful lot.

seems strange that the ad is 4 hours old and covered in snow in the pics. It is a long time since we have had snow on this side of the country so I assume they are old pics with a new pic of the odometer.
Could be a great car if it checks out but doesnt seem right to me.

it is snowing in most parts of the country mate...

Was snow in some parts of North Cork - I know this because I live there

And as you go further north - ie towards Cavan where the Focus is (I think) the risk of snow is always a bit higher usually.

Granted not huge amounts of snow - but in fairness - where that focus is - theres wasn't huge amounts of snow when pic was taken

I live in north cork too and all that fell here was rain and lots of it.

I'll see your 2.5 diesel - and raise you a 4.0 petrol (though there's no mention of test). Now THIS is an interior ;) ...

    I spy UK plates.

Wouldn't mind the interior though, if I had one with cloth.

i love how they even colour coded the 2x4 that they use to keep the boot door open to the interior. now that's classy :)
