    Not the fastest but it must have some uses.

    Comes with a European plug so you'll need an adapter.

    14.95 for me too. I've installed a load of these as a very basic router in shops all over. Been going 1-2 years at least with no issues. Firewall rules are a bit restrictive, and I can't comment on the wireless to be honest, as I usually disabled it. Definitely a bargain at 2! :D

    Have one of these..not a good rrouter imo. Actually a heap of crap.. 2eu is xheap though

    What does a switch do. Will I see any benefits to this with a home network, our ISP is UPC.

    A switch is like an extension lead for a network. Plug the existing modem into the wan port of the tp-link, and the four lan ports will all have internet available on them. Handy if you only had one internet cable that you'd move between devices. I use one of them at home as a wireless repeater. Input into one of the lan ports, and will rebroadcast.
