"What is going on in the Ukraine? No outsider knows the country better than..... Pat Cox".

Rather odd that Seán gave no outline or indication of in what capacity Pat Cox was attending all these millions of meetings in Ukraine. Why was he there?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,988 ✭✭✭constitutionus

    Speaking of corruption.....

Item finished with still no explaination of what capacity or position Pat Cox held when attending meetings in Ukraine?
Surely it wasn't purely on the basis of his Monumental ego he was there

Santa is going to spend €185 per child this year........that's a load off my mind. It means I will have to spend zilch.

Well to be fair they do have to be careful as little ears are listening. I still remember the backtracking Matt Cooper had to do one day when he did a segment on how global warming meant the North Pole would be ice free within a few years and it would be nothing but open ocean. Then he started getting furious texts from parents with upset children worried that Santa's workshop was going to sink.

He did manage to enlighten me somewhat on the situation in Ukraine.

I don't care what he has for breakfast so long as he isn't nicking mine.

The farmer looking forward to a punch-up after a feed of porter. I think Paddy might have stumbled onto the set of The Quiet Man.

And the people who are actually doing most of the lectures and research get paid peanuts and exist on year-long contracts.

Mary thinks 35k a year is a low wage. I suppose she's probably comparing it with her university lectureship salary.

Whenever I hear her, I just think of all those saps who voted to retain the Seanad. Hope they're very proud of themselves.

I voted yes to keep the Seanad. I am proud of myself. It's not my fault Enda appointed that gobsh1te

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

What a load of old outdated s*** that was.
MLOD is only good if you suffer from constipation.
When will RTE One move into the present age?
They seem to cater only for the over 70's.
    Pure rubbish.

Sean O'Rourke is fawning over her just as much as PK used to do. I thought S O'R had a bit more sense.
