    SPOILERS FOR THE WIRE BELOW:

I watched The Wire recently and the scene where Stringer visits D after he takes the years really stood out. Really moving and sort of haunting.

Have you any scenes from movies or TV shows that have really stuck with you?

The scene where Dumbo sits on his mothers trunk when she's in prison and cries those huge tears. Lord jaysis.

The worst bit is when he has to leave and their trunks slowly stop touching each other.

    First twenty minutes of UP.

I agree. That was totally unexpected and brilliantly done.

The scene in crash , where the father gives his daughter his "jacket of protection " as she is scared at night.

Later when he returns home and is confronted by a gunman she jumps in front of the bullet as she is still wearing his jacket.

Heart was all over the place for that one.

Sad scenes from comedies are particularly moving. I guess because they're so unexpected.
