Hi all, I'm looking for a monitor without an aerial or tv tuner in it. I hope to circumvent the TV licence fee (for this year at least). I will connect only to an Xbox one.

I've found a sony bravia 40" for €545 in dabs. I'm looking for other options.

Also, my old TV didn't take audio and video over the HDMI, do new monitors do both now?

    Thanks

If the monitor has speakers, like the one above does, then yes, it'll deal with audio and video via the HDMI. Note though that not all graphics cards in laptops will output sound.

Can anyone recommend another option aside from the one in dabs? Perhaps a brick and mortar store has one?
