I have read about this new(ish) collagen inducing procedure. An ultrasound device is passed across the skin, such as the face and brow, and blasts deep into the tissues causing your own defences to kick into gear and re-knit collagen back together. I have seen before and after pics and it looks quiet stunning- perfect for my age. But I cant find any cosmetic practice in Ireland for it...

    anyone know of anywhere???

How would this be much different than micro current?

Hi! Microcurrent apparently just isnt as good. It needs 20days of treatments compared to one with ultherapy. And google tells me that ultherapy is THE alternative to a facelift. Its also FDA approved for the intention of lifting skin. I just cant find a clinic in ireland doing it!

It sounds very gimmicky to be honest. It is saying it is the only non invasive way to improve the appearance of aged skin and this is simply not true, compared to microcurrent, although it may be slower it is actually effective. Collagen and Elastin production isn't something that can be magically replenished after just one treatment.

    Thank you molly09,
I did indeed find that link at the start of my search but harley dublin are ahut down since last year! I have since followed up with the distributor of the ulthera machines and it would seem that dundrum is the only provider of this service.
