Once I really liked a girl and never asked her out. It still bugs me, she's in my social circle now and I've no interest but just the whole ya never know thing.

OP basically if she is interested you don't have to be slick and smooth and if she's not, all the slick and smooth on the world won't help.

Well that's what I learned in my arm chancing career so far.

I hate to say it, but that might be true. If the girl has already seen you act normally, then acting too smooth may prove counter productive. I actually don't like this girl's personality that much. She's too diplomatic, and on a few occasions, was unimpressed at my lack of respect for authority and at the many smutty jokes I make to people

Doesn't consume my thoughts or anything but just that I didn't and a kinda no adventure nothing gained type thing. Same was as it's always the things I haven't done that I regret as apposed to the things I have.

Well how else would he be able to tell a bunch of strangers on the internet that he has a vibe with her but he's not too pushed about her and he'll have plenty of time in the next two years etc etc? When I have my eye on someone the first thing I want to do is post my every thought about it online.

Your posts across a few threads now have absolutely fascinated me (and occupied a couple of evenings here at work). Right at first I was grateful for your boards existence as it reminded me of the Billy Idol song that forms your webhandle.
