Man City v Arsenal at evens

City resting players against bayern, impressive home premiership form

Arsenal will have played everton, tough trip away to napoli

    Swansea v Hull

With Swansea front line decimated by injurys in last few weeks
( Back training but both wont start )
I have a feeling Shelvey will play behind striker
Going for a few bets on shelvey

    Score 1st 7-1 ( 10e )
    Score 2 or more 17-1 ( 10e )
    Shelvey wincast 10-3 ( 20e )

I'm of the same mind but waiting for the line-up. Maybe even for the in-play.

    Guys (and girls),

I have moved the Barkley thoughts to the WC thread. Better suited there and in a week time no one will be able to find it in this thread anymore.

    Cluj to win to nil

    10/11

Cluj are without two I their strikers to this game but should be far too strong to win this game. They're far more defensive these days than they used to be and keep it tight at the back. Predicting 2-0

Word of caution for Swansea Hull match, Curtis Davies returns at CB for Hull folowing a suspension, he missed the Arsenal game. Saw him being interviewed on Fantasy football , I was impressed with the team spirit he spoke of at hull and his attitude, he is fighting for a late call up to the Eng squad if someone gets injured and remember he held Suarez scoreless two weeks ago in Hulls win over pool. Hes highly rated by Merson.

Go ahead with your bets , Im just passing on info, felt I owe that seen as how Ive picked up a few quid from tipsters here.

Michu starts but gonna stick with my gut feeling and back the above bets
    Come on Shelvey !!!!!!!

Sorry I back with PP only ( mistake i know )
Some of odds have changed when I went to go do them
    Score 1ST - 8s
    2 or more - 19s
    Wincast - 7-2

If you back goalscorer bets the nyou really should branch out, PP are awful for anytime and FGS. You'd be astonished at the difference in price sometimes

Looking at the big game in Group B
    Galatasaray v Juventus
Galatasary need a win here tonight, nothing else will do for them...the corners market might be worth looking at here given they'll be all out going for the win.
    So looking at 3 bets...

Over 10 match corners @ 1.83 (....anyone any thoughts on this game/ corners market?)

A draw is enough for Juve to qualify and thinking of that @ 3.5

Fancy a bit of Tevez as anytime scorer also against Mancini @ 2.7

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 648 ✭✭✭TheHannibal

I like the look of Benfica v PSG O2.5 goals. 5/6. Changes by PSG and Benfica need the win although PSG have plenty of attacking talent to score means Benfica will need at least two to win

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 693 ✭✭✭Uncle Mclovin

Worth noting that a good few teams have nothing to play for.

Madrid and PSG already guaranteed top spot so will more than likely send out weakened teams.

Did a bit of follow up research....might avoid the corners bet as Galatasary's previous CL games at home (v Madrid & Copenhagan) have been total match corners of 5 and 6.
They don't seem to be a corners team.
Away to Juventus previous was 11 Juventus 0 Galatasary corners .!

Looking at city to win and btts @ 11/1.
    Is this completely foolish?
Arsenal have won there and city are very good when playing well.

    Yes.

In fairness Bayern are in unbeleivable form, and Pelligrini said ( I think) at the weekend he would send out a weakened team.

City tend to underperform away from home though

I've gone for Bayern in the acca mentioned above with PSG, Real Madrid and Man Utd and Juve/Gala to draw

    Saviola anytime @ 2.48

Olympiakos missing their top man Mitrologou, so Saviola will be their main threat. He is their second highest scorer this season with 7 goals. He was rested at the weekend so should be fresh. Anderlect are pretty awful and have nothing to play for, Olympiakos need to win to qualify, so hoepfully Saviola steps up :D

Benfica B are back tomorrow afternoon, King of the overs!

9 games at home 29 goals scored 19 conceded

Sporting Lisbon 10 away games 12 goals scored 19 conceded

    Over 3 GL @ 2.150

Any1 catch any of Juventus Gala before it was called off? How did it go. Might back Juventus at 11/10

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,845 ✭✭✭discombobulate

I know it's kicking off in the 30th minute but like the look of over 1.5 goals at 4/5. Gala's last 10 home games have had over 1.5 and 9/10 of Juve's last away games have been. 50 bob down for a bit of afternoon entertainment.
