Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

Has anyone else bought a tree from a Coillte depot? We bought ours last weekend at €60 which seems too bloody high (I know, I know, wasn't my decision). This was including us picking it up too. Seems like a bit of a rip-off if you ask me. The cheapest there was €45 but that was a piece of crap.

I think in the long run some people would be better off planting Christmas trees let them grow and then sell them to the public.
Something like in the states. I you have family with land maybe you could use part of it. The public would feel joy and pride cutting down the family tree

If only that were the case. It would be great though. Back to the original post - how can they justify €60 for a tree when 2 years ago they were €35 - 40?

    Supply and demand maybe.
