    Yellow brake callipers.

    Yay or nay ?

    Spot the Roscommon fan!

If I was painting mine I'd be painting them red but yellow could work with yours. Do one and if you don't like it you can always paint them some other colour.

Actually scratch that. It'll look really good with the wheels

Not feeling them for your car tbh. Not in my mind's eye anyway, although I suppose its a matter of taste. Dodgy having Roscommon colours around Galway too :P Unless you're Loughrea....

    How about something like these?

You can't without a photo though.

Sorry I'm just sharing random thoughts.

Just trying to find d a place aroung gal way now who can spray my 2 bumpers or possibly touch them up for a decent price. The variations in prices are mad.

    Yellow brake callipers.

I think it would look great. I don't think red would look well on yours to be honest.

They are sprayed silver ATM so it was between good old black or yellow.

    What about Electric Orange?

Considered that but from the pictures that I've seen yellow looks cleaner on a blue car

On black or white car it looks great though

    If there's anything a 1.6 MX5 needs, it's better brakes.

If you go on to Wilwoods website you can start seriously specing them up, if you've got the cash and expect a lot of racing then maybe, but you know what light street cars are like. You don't need monster brakes, the stock ones are just crap though. :p

I'm running the stock calipers, endless pads and discs though. Give some good upgraded pads and discs a go

It's the callipers that people generally complain about, they're tiny yokes.
When I get money together I'll probably go with Endless pads to start, disk upgrade is probably a good idea because I'd say they original's on there! Not much of them eaten away but there's a bit of a lip on them.

Depending on how it goes once I am dailying it, I may well go for the Wilwood 4 piston kit, good 1.8 MX5 brakes cost a tiny bit less for the lot!

I know you want one but aren't you trying to save money?
Dropping €3k on a car isn't gonna help that.

I know but im going to get around 3k for my car from the insurer and this will be easy to run.
Its not so much i want to end up spending only 1k on a cheap car i still want to maintain some standard.
He originally had it up for 4000 but rizzee got an identical one with 50 odd thousand miles for 3400 so i was thinking 3ish myself
