When I'm cutting overhead branches like that, I get up on the roof of the tractor (steel roof) and cut them with a hand saw (bushman), about 3 feet at a time. I'd still consider that dangerous.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,173 ✭✭✭✭Muckit

Your a f***in crackpot and that ain't maybe. If that video hasn't convinced you it's dangerous forget about it. Your not going to outrun a heavy branch . Snag ur heel, back on your a**e and branch, chainsaw, the lot on top of you. Bye bye iver.

Mount on a loader if you must continue with this lunacy. At least you've tge cab for protection

Bear in mind if a branch hits you it will knock you off balance (if not knock you out) and you will be trying to catch your balance while swinging a full, running chainsaw over your head.

Lads if one of those branches hits you you are dead!! Or paralysed.

Russian roulette with a chainsaw is what it is.

There is goin to be some speculation around here if you dont log in in the next few days iver :D
In all fairness it an accident waiting to happen , at least try to have it out at an angle from yourself and not right over your head when cutting

I like your style. I bet ya that you have the mudguard taken off the angle grinder

but they offer great finance deals I believe. I told the parents myself and the Brother in law will bring the two 3ton kubotas over to dig the grave. that will save 400euro.

auld one said, she wants to be cremnated. I said, I will ask a few farmers for a lock of tyres off the pit and into the whole after her and 5 gallons of diesel

my little idea is when you are takeing off your manure spreader put it up on 2 lorry tyres which are on top of each other on their sides , makes it very easy to manoeuvre when putting back on.

Tractor tyre with solid pallet on top better
