    Hi all,

I'm hoping someone may be able to advise me of a good garage with VW diagnostic equipment in Dublin? I am in rathgar myself. Light has been on a while but car seems to be running ok.

    Many thanks

One of those bluetooth code readers you can get for about a tenner might be a start.

Good chance it's the catalytic converter gone on that, but get the code read, few good independent garages up the lane opposite rathgar motor factors, currys, lynch's.

I has the very same car a few years ago and the same thing happened to it, Engine Management light came on. The day I was bringing it to the garage, it went off. Was probably a bit of dirt on a sensor or something. Still, as long as the light is on, best get it checked.

Mightn't be anything a'tall. The light in my last car was on for 4 years and there was nothing wrong with it.
