I submitted my form 12 end October, in while I had a loss which i carried over form the provious year.(rental income)
Balance left me still with a loss to bring over for next year.
Got my revenue letter last week in which it said I owed them money? I presumed that if you made a loss then you wouldn;t get a bill?
    Any help would be appreciated.

Had you PAYE Tax Credit ticked ? :) -- it's often ommitted - check that you have all your tax credits incl Medical insurance if your employer pays it

not sure but don't think so?
Made a photocopy of form before I submitted it. Will check when I get home later. Would this be the reason for the bill?

PAYE Credit is €1650 - I assume you are a paye employee? - did you get a notice of assessment / balancing statement from revenue - check what credits are on it
